Ecology 101 - Understanding Ecology

This workshop is designed around three themes:
- enable you to learn major ecology concepts in order to help to impart a holistic understanding of how nature operates
- provide you with the capability to use engaging activities that help students to learn these concepts
- demonstrate how ecology research can be a powerful educational tool that promotes long-term understanding and excitement about the science of ecology.
By learning major ecological themes (and not just an assortment of popular ones), just like putting a puzzle together, you will understand and appreciate how different aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems function.
